A poll carried out to coincide with the DVD release of Bad Neighbours found that 80 per cent of women in the north-east of England and Northern Ireland would rather have a man who knows how to enjoy himself than someone who punishes himself in the gym for every cream cake he consumes.
Furthermore, 91 per cent of respondents would rather see their men participating in couples time as opposed to heading off to lift weights every night – and 82 per cent of ladies who already have an 'Average Joe' are not looking to replace him an time soon.

"Eye candy is never a bad thing, but when it comes to choosing a partner, in reality, buff-bodied men are just not what most women want for real-life partners," she added.
"Women are a lot more concerned about whether a man is intelligent, trustworthy, reliable and ambitious rather than if he looks like a cover model," chipped in dating expert James Preece.
Indeed, we reported on an Experien study published last month which found that a whopping 87 per cent of women think a sense of humour is the most attractive thing in a man. Good looks weren't even in the top three, being squarely beaten by intelligence.
